My Australia Day holiday

Today I saw 8 bridges, a dead body, and watched my boyfriend dance like a lunatic in front of hundreds of laughing people. None of them were related to each other.

(…except possibly one of the bridges and the body.)

    Many years ago I was a lab tech for the local blood bank. On occasion I would carry blood to the hospital in an emergency. Sometimes I would see dead or soon to be dead bodies. Following that time I did not see a dead body for more than 25 years. Then about 2-3 years ago I saw one. A guy had gone on a shooting rampage and killed two people. The police had shot him in the middle of the highway. Oddly enough I saw another dead body in December. A guy had been going to his mailbox and was struck by a passing car. His body was within 15 meters of the one the police had shot.
