Bring bad design to justice

Don’t you just wish you could reach through your monitor sometimes, and do something about all the shitty-looking websites out there? I understand that not everybody is a designer, but how hard is it to pick a readable font?

Thanks to design-police.org for this 5-page printable “Visual Enforcement Kit”, and to Katie Chatfield for bringing them to my attention.

(Bonus points for pointing out which rules I’m breaking on this blog!)

Meanwhile, I’m sort of loving how badly this graphic clashes with my site’s colour scheme.

Better push it down with another post, because I can’t stand seeing it next to my header image anymore…

I know what you mean. By no means do I profess to be a professional site designer, but at least my site is functional and legible…at least I hope it is! o.O

I found a site not long ago, although I can’t remember what the link is, or the exact wording. Anyway- you can order bumper stickers that say something like “Crappy Parking Job Award!” that you can slap onto random cars where you see fit. Funny stuff, and if I had any money at the time, I would have bought some. I wish I would have favorited that page. :(
