What a wonderful concept – to learn 101 things in 1001 days!

This post caught my eye because at the beginning of this year I started a wine knowledge website.

Thought it might prove useful to you and others here.

I’m in the US and haven’t traveled to Australia, but some of next pages will be on wine regions. I’ll be sure to include Australia’s.

Re: Yarra Valley…

I’ve gone on two tours of the Yarra Valley with a tour gide, and I highly reccommend it – yarra valley winery tours is the company I went with both times and for $120 from Melbourne CBD per person including lunch, it’s a great day (plus, you have the opportunity to drink A LOT and don’t have to worry about driving!) If you do go again though – you totally need to check out Boat O’Craigo, Punt Road, Di Bortoli, Sticks, Yeerling Station – they are all fabulous!

What a nice blog! I came across you during my daily “entrecruise” and was unable to not stop and smell the flowers and taste the wine. Your photography is gorgeous.

Now that I’ve buttered you up, I wonder if I could enlist your help in combating the Brits over on my own new blog. I am being overwhelmed by them, and could use some insightful cutting Aussie humor (humour? Ok, I gave my American self away there by the spelling) to help me push back the tide.

Then again, just by reading your blog, I see you are perhaps too intelligent to actually get down in the muck over there with us. Just a wistful thought.

There are always lots of wine tours going on out in the Yarra Valley (maybe starting to wind down a little at this time of year), but they’re always great fun and you taste a heap of wines.
I’ve been on one or two before and had some great (boozy) days!
