Strange coincidence…

Yesterday’s Daily Photo was a picture of a hot air balloon, taken a few years ago as it cruised above my old house in Brisbane.
Today I was brushing my teeth at about 6am when I heard a strange noise. I looked out of my bathroom window to see an enormous balloon rising up from behind the trees in my yard, like a huge yellow sun. Of course, I woke everyone in the house and we all stood out the back to ooh and ahh. And then Tim went back to bed.
There were 5 or 6 balloons, and some of them were directly overhead (and REALLY low). I was mesmerised for so long that for a while there I forgot I had a camera!
But then I grabbed it, and took these shots:
Pretty pretty. I cannot wait to do this myself sometime. Thanks to my 101 Things in 1001 Days list I should be doing it sometime in the next 18 months!
