I’ve been steadily making progress on my list of 101 Things in 1001 Days. It’s time for a recap post.

I’m just over one year into the 2.75 year challenge, and I have completed 35 items on the list. More importantly, I have another 18 “in progress”, which are ticking along pretty nicely.

COMPLETED

021 I kept a movie list throughout 2008. It wasn’t much of a movie-watching year, but I kept the list updated for 12 months.
037 I have visited 50 suburbs in Melbourne in the past 12 months!
041 We visited Werribee Zoo last week. Big picture post to follow, as soon as I’ve processed the millions of photos I took!

IN PROGRESS

016 I am half-way through drawing up a budget, in preparation for car shopping.
020 I’ve watched 9 movies of Tim’s choosing, 16 to go!
030 I can now identify 3 constellations. This has been a challenge due to our proximity to the bright lights of the city.
054 We will be part of a TV audience this week! I suspect it will be a little bit lame, but I’m still looking forward to it.
086 I have decided upon a jewellery project, and have bought most of the supplies. I’m really excited to see if I can pull off my idea.

SETBACKS

034 I was all set to see the Great Ocean Road and stay at the Twelve Apostles a couple of weeks ago, but at the last minute wasn’t able to go because of my Grandpa’s funeral. I missed out on the trip with Tim and his parents, and ended up spending New Years Eve by myself. Massive bummer. They all had a wonderful time though, and their photos were beautiful. I’m sure I’ll get there this year.

Overall I am really pleased with my progress. I credit my 101 List with helping me to focus and define my direction for the medium-term, and I’m pleased to say that my list is still relevant and exciting. Every little red box puts a grin on my face, and it’s been really fun to watch them multiply!
