A rare photo of me.
Elizabeth November 23rd, 2009
Earlier today I set out to take a photo of myself, since it’s been half a century since I’ve taken a self-portrait. I chose this morning because the light was so good, not because I’d taken the time to put on any makeup.
Pity, that.
This shot was never supposed to make the cut – I only took it to test my focus and shutter speed. I had decided to take a photo into the mirror, and was trying to angle it in a way that didn’t create a shadow.
It’s funny that all the “planned” shots ended up looking so unnatural, and that this one passed the test. I’d have hated this photo a couple of years ago, but today I’m happy to have a photo of me. Worry lines, freckles and all!

It’s a gorgeous shot (you big dope!), and I particularly love the way it brings out the colour/s in your eyes.
(BTW, it’s wonderful to see a girl comfortable with her “…worry lines, freckles and all.” If more of us did this, we’d not only save a truck-load of money from not buying all those ridiculous so-called beauty products, but – I suspect – be a whole lot happier..!)
You’re the big dope! xxx
Elizabeth, you are very adorable in this photo! Very natural – I really like it.
And the colours are great – very intense what makes your picture very cheerful.
I see that you like many different song so I thought that I could show you two sweet and funny songs that I like recently and listen them all the time:

It’s old song by Diana Ross and it is used in tv advertizing of porridge for babes in Poland now and smooth, lovely voice of Diana always makes me dancing

Stereo Total – I love you, Ono it’s a song which was also used in tv ad of laptop (if I remember correctly… it was a few years ago!) but it’s funny due to the music and accent of singer
I hope you like it.
Hugs
Anna
I’m still trying to find your worry lines!

Beautiful photo
Oh no! Now I’m worried that I’m the only one who can see my worry lines!
It’s a lovely picture. As Sal pointed out, it really brings out the colour in your eyes!
