Fifty minutes

31 Photos in 31 Days

Today’s photograph is a shot of the camellia out the front of my house. It’s completely covered in flowers right now, even though I have been raiding it to fill all the vases in my house! They seem to last for two weeks in water so there is a seemingly endless supply.

I’ve been home sick for the past couple of days. Today I curled up on the couch with a blanket and a coffee, and found myself staring out the bay window and watching the world go by. I thought it might make a cool little video, so I set up my iPhone on a pile of books and let it record.

Here it is – fifty minutes condensed to three and a half. It’s a pretty good representation of Melbourne’s “four seasons in one day” too!

The beautiful music is Mi Ancla by Mindy Gledhill.

I’m pretty happy with my little iPhone for doing such a good job! I wish I could share the original here – it’s so clear you can even see the little bees buzzing around the flowers.

We’re officially living in the future.
